gmail logo Declutter Your Gmail Page With Minimalist Gmail Firefox ExtensionIf you are a Gmail user (which you should be if not) and access your account from a browser, then you are probably sick of some clutter in your page that you never use, stuff like the invitation box, banner ads, the chat box and etc.

Minimalist Gmail is a Firefox Extension that selectively lets you hide some elements in your Gmail page that you don’t want to see. Note that it only hides the elements, so you can still use the Gmail shortcuts if you can’t live without them.

There are many Greasmonkey scripts that allow you to remove individual elements, however, this extension brings everything together and you can easily enable/disable the elements without having to deal with many scripts. This is how my Gmail looked like before using the extension:

That is not the maximum extent you can minimize the elements, you can simplify the page even more by removing the Gmail logo, search box and the buttons you don’t need.
