If you are like me and prefer finding out about stuff yourself rather than being told by somebody else, then you will be thanking me for pointing out this iPhone app to you if you don’t know about it already.

Fluent News [iTunes link] is a free iPhone/iPod Touch app that aggregates all mobile-friendly news content from multiple sources into an extremely well organized app that is amazingly fast. Yes, I have tried many other apps but the superiority of Fluent News is in it’s incredible speed. It literally aggregates the content you want to display instantly.

Fluent News lets you share the content you like by tweeting the link to your Twitter followers or sharing it with your Facebook friends. You can also email a story to a friend. The app will just ask for your credintials once and it will remember your information unless you log out manually. So sharing the content you like is a snap.

I came to know about this app from Twitter’s homepage. Yes, Twitter is promoting it through their little text box “advertising” that they have been doing for a while now. Supposedly these free promotional advertising spots are just being tested by Twitter for a potential revenue source.

I have recently been exploring great apps for the iPhone and one more notable add to my home screen is the Google FastFlip. Although there is no native iPhone app for Google FastFlip yet, but the website itself is really optimized for mobile web browsers and it works perfectly.

It is all these apps that make me stare at my iPhone screen the whole day until the battery dies (Eventhough I have set up the screen brightness to the lowest).
